Jazzy: add to external dictionary not working

Words added by the Jazzy dialog to the (external)
dictionary are not saved there, whether
"options.jazzy.disk-based" is set (1) or not (2).

options.jazzy.disk-based=true
options.jazzy.dictionary=/home/nolda/tmp/words

(2)
options.jazzy.dictionary=/home/nolda/tmp/test.dic

I am using JazzyPlugin 0.2.1 with JEdit 4.1final and
IBM's 1.4.1 JRE on Linux.
