I am not in favour of this.

- It uses space
In some projects, you have nested folders in /source.
Such as
Client_Name - Product 1
Version - Installation Linux Red Hat
Admin
(One of the strong point in OmegaT is that you can keep this intact.)

Plus long file names such as
ProductV5-Installation-Guide-Red-Hat-Linux4-Download-English-vx.xx.odt

- I checked various applications having editing functions, and none used something other than the file name in the title bar of that window.

If I am not wrong, it was my suggesting in the first place and I see how that would be a waste of menu space.

I agree that the window should be given a specific title, so that new users know what it is called, and so that further documentation can be consistent.

I see the point of long filenames. It can be useful to know which document is displayed, however. I'll address that in a separate RFE.

This there didn't seem to be a consensus, I have not integrated this part of the patch submitted by Tiago.

Fixed in CVS.

After the last message here, people expressed support to this in the users group.

I have used "Editor - " instead of ":", as I found it more common in the various programs I checked.

This feature was implemented in the just released version 1.8.0 update OmegaT.
