As discussed on the list on yahoo groups, I would like to see an option to have no prefix added when fuzzy matches appear. In addition, it would be good to have a background color change when there is a fuzzy match as a further enhancemant perhaps down the road. Thanks, Charles Aschmann

Actually it would be better to have two options: auto-insert fuzzy (with a
possibly empty prefix)
and auto-insert exact (with a possible empty prefix).

+1 for this.
Forcing a text in the prefix is very counter-productive is some situations. It's basically a show-stopper for using OmegaT in some projects for us.

This feature is of no practical use, or, if any, an option to turn it off would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Hate it too :)

Please can we at least stop having [fuzzy] being added when specifying an empty prefix... That should be really quick to fix.
For a cleaner, more long-term solution, the suggestion provided by Didier below seems very elegant.
Thanks!
Implemented in SVN (2.3 and /trunk).
If the prefix field is empty, the inserted matches will have no prefix.
