Version 0.9.5 (used internally, not released) - 0.9.6 * Updated the installer to allow selection of destination folder. * Updated IF logic to allow NotStartsWith and NotEndsWith * Added a bare bones example plugin * Added Assembly version plugin (see its readme for more info)
More plug-ins, more examples, better language... See release notes for more information.
We have updated xReplace already with some huge feature adds like the ability to set variables from the command line version - allowing integration in to automated build scripts. 0.9.4 also adds pattern-matching 'if' statements so sections of script can be executed selectively. We are currently working on 0.9.5 which has much better script debugging tools as we are quickly finding that some scripts can get exceptionally complex.
Version: 0.9.4 Released: * Removed the INJECT command and amalgamated its functions with the <store> command since they were so close in function. * Moved out the rename rules from the output object to be a RenameHelper * Added @insert and @append commands to the replace rules logic in the rename object * Updated ZIP plugin to use the renameHelper * Rewrote the way the xReplace library is invoked to allow a more extensible approach to parameters * Can now pre-set labels from the environment/shell * Added docs for the xReplaceCMD * Added variables to the RenameRules so that when inside a <transform> and filename in any tag (even plugins) can use the rename rules sub-language in the filename specification.
Some text processing issues in the Content object and the ZIP Plugin has been updated with a lot of features.
xReplace 0.9 is now released and its getting close to a complete system. The language is almost complete. This release is missing some minor features but good to give a flavour of what xReplace is capable of. Sourcecode will be put on the SVN repo next week.
