RKWard aims to provide an easily extensible, easy to use IDE/GUI for R. RKWard tries to combine the power of the R-language with the (relative) ease of use of commercial statistics tools. Long term plans include integration with office suites.

It's probably the best open source gui/ide for R. It's been going for many years and is very actively being developed. High quality and very thorough work.

The most serious R GUI project to date !! The only drawback is the dependance on KDE which heavy and no so easy to install. But hey, surely there is advantages to KDE. Bravo
