i made an account so i could add info to my problem
i just discovered that linux will not boot from rEFIt
the only two large options on rEFIt are the mac logo and the bootcamp logo for the other partition, but i expected this to be the linux logo
possible problem there?
i used the partitioning thing from the bootcamp installer, and never finished the installer, so i just used that partition for...

Since update to 10.6.x, rEFIt 0.13 doesn't appear on "restart" but "shutdown" only. And sometimes nowhere.

Before I forge ahead and install rEFIt, I want to find out if it will be possible for me to suspend Snow Leopard and then boot into Windows via Boot Camp, and after I'm done there, resume my OSX session that was suspended. Unfortunately I cannot for the life of me find a web-based forum or email-based mailing list dedicated to refit to ask the question.
