- 7/24/10: Agents can now give and receive energy to/from each other and contacts may be logged to investigate altruism
- 8/1/10: Agents can now pick up, carry, and drop all other objects (including each other)
- 12/1/12: Worldfile parameters can now be made dynamic and controlled by population levels, in support of guided evolution.
- 12/25/13: Polyworld and its build instructions have been updated for compatibility with Mac OS X 10.9 (Mavericks).
