The WebEditor application is a Applet Text Editor and File Manager for Managing Files and Editing them without the need for a client side FTP or TextEditor. The Applet has syntax colorizator for most web scriptin languages.

syntax highlighting text editor in javascript
If i was redo this project again i would have opted for flash instead of an applet but then today i found http://helene.muze.nl/ written entirely Javascript. I would recommend any to use this for a web IDE. Im amazed! Great piece of work. slyi
