pleXus is a framework that allows you to control multiple programs (modules) by means of events, messages and simple scripting. We use it to build things like a remote controlled radio/mp3box or to control external hardware. (like robots or a house)

i just discovered that i have 20+ visits per day in some magical way. Probablhy for search engine related reasons. My house is still running on the current plexus framework. However, this project has been more like a proof of concept so far. In the mean time i've been thinking about a serious version of this franmework and the possible application than can be create dwith it. I actually created a draft for the new framework, which is still in progress. It will be an event framework with some of these features: -intergrated authentication/authorisation for events. -automatic parallel handling of events. (events cmake take an infinite time to complete, ideally for multi threadding) -internal and external plugins -plugins for json-rpc, xml-rpc, and dbus interfacing. (effectivly creating 'bindings' with most programming languages)
