  • This is an extremely useful tool, it needs a little tweaking now that myspace went and changed everything but well worth the wait.
  • I needed to move myspace blogs to my wordpress blog. This tool worked perfectly for me. It successfully created a wordpress (in my case) export file out of my myspace blogs. Wordpress then imported that exported file in a few seconds. My only suggestions in terms of my own experience : 1.) the command prompt instruction to determine my java version did not work. I went to the java microsystems website which had a link to verify my computer's version of java. 2) double-clicking the export.bat file produced an error message for me. I just double clicked on the MySpaceBlogExporterGui file and followed the instructions. I use Win7 64 bit Ultimate. Thank you so much for this utility!
  • This sounds great! Exactly what I was looking for, for exactly the same reason! BUT! Is Java 6 _absolutely_ necessary? Apple limits 32-Bit PPC (G3, G4 & G5) processors to Java 5! in order to run this app I would have to run an Intel Mac in 64-Bit mode, which wouldn't be difficult, if I had an Intel Mac... which I don't :( ...I tried to run your .jar through the SoyLatte project hack but it's integration is a bit above my head and it doesn't seem to be working. Thanks for the great work though, it looks promising!
  • This program allowed me to move more than 3 years of MySpace blogs to my Wordpress blog, with very little loss of structure or content. To do this by hand would have taken weeks. The developer responded with lightning speed to a bug report. With MySpace seemingly going down the tubes or morphing into Facebook, this program is a must-have!
