Why are there 2 installers?
You only need to install one of them. Maxima can be build using different Lisp implementations and the installers use different Lisp implementations.
Which one should I use?
That depends on your needs.
maxima-sbcl-5.37.2.exe is build on Windows. It runs probably faster than maxima-clisp-5.37.2.exe, but there were issues with Windows DEP and Anti virus programs reported.
maxima-clisp-5.37.2.exe may be slower. It is build using a different method (crosscompiled on Linux) and no issues were reported.
