Change log for jStat Beta 2 - 14 Jun 2009 I have added the option of using SQL as a storage engine for the stats, which is currently much more efficient than the file-based option. I also added 'blacklist.dat', which tells jStat not to record lines from certain nicks - useful for if you have other bots on the channel. Next update will include outputting to webpages, I will start work on that feature today. Beta 1 - 12 Jun 2009 This is the first release; I used the PirC-bot base to connect to the IRC server. The server to connect to is read from config files, and the bot stores user stats (in a very in-efficient way) in userStats.dat, next release will include a better way to store the stats (MySQL?). The bot's only way of outputting stats is through the !stats channel command, where it outputs the top 10 chatters. Future versions will be able to write to a web page (XHTML/PHP?).
