Is there any way to simply add the contents of the clipboard as a new bibtex entry? All the GUI "add new entry" options automatically insert code I don't need (@ARTICLE{, ), so I have to paste in the bibtex code and then go back and delete the pre-formatted stuff. If there was a button for "add entry from clipboard", that would make the interface truly blazing.

I think that it would be great if there was a button/menu option somewhere in the UI that says "New entry from clipboard" - even if it just does the same action as "Paste".

if you click the main table so it has the keyboard focus, you can paste Bibtex formatted text directly.
