    Best monitoring for virtualized data centers. Alerting is good (not great) but visibility is amazing.

    Very good out of the box support of a wide variety of common systems, gets you started very quick right away. Customizable with XML, Java and script based plugins.

    It is a good product, I think the best open source monitoring software available. However, version 4.1.x was very buggy. Hopefully they will get that sorted out. Also I hope that SpringSource doesn't screw with them too much now that they bought Hyperic.
