A new version of gtranslator (1.9.6) has been released. This is a development version and includes this improvements since 1.9.5:

Thanks to the work of Francisco Puga, the last release of gtranslator (1.9.5) is also available for Windows.
In the downloads section is already available the windows installer for the 32-bit version of this operating system.

As you probably know, GNOME has moved its source code repositories from Subversion to git, so gtranslator development has been migrated to this new repository too.
You can get gtranslator doing:
git clone git://git.gnome.org/gtranslator
or if you have a developer account:
git clone ssh://USERNAME@git.gnome.org/git/gtranslator
