  • Filesystem Hierarchy Standard Compliance

The following page indicates that upon running "make install" on Linux, Galleon "will be installed under /usr/share/galleon": http://galleon.sourceforge.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=92&Itemid=51 According to the Filesystem Hierarchy Standard, /usr/share/galleon is not the best place to install Galleon. • Weather XML Feed

Not so much a bug as it is a reminder... the NWS (National Weather Service) CAPS XML feed is changing, and I believe the one that is currently being used will stop working in December. They are changing it to an ATOM feed.

  • Followup: RE: Rebuild on 64 bit linux?

I was able to install on Fedora x86_64, but I had to install the 32bit version of glibc first. I did that by doing a 'yum install glibc.i586' on my Fedora 11 x86_64 box.

  • Comment: Some shows missing in ToGo list

Now I'm seeing that my list is updated but some shows don't appear. I have shows recorded this morning that appear but some shows do not. Going directly to the tivo https interface all shows appear.

  • "Test" button doesn't work

When pressing the "Test" button (under Properties in the GUI), the "search" never finds any TiVos on the network. This doesn't affect Galleon functionality (the TiVos can still see the Galleon server) but does cause confusion for new users. I tried to do a little debugging and...

  • Followup: RE: Installing 2.5.5 on Mac OS X, Server stops

The issue was permissions. I fixed permissions on the files and it is now working fine.

  • Followup: RE: Installing 2.5.5 on Mac OS X, Server stops

Have a look at the log file. /Applications/Galleon/Galleon Server.app/Contents/Resources/Java/logs/log.txt (you will need to right-click or extended-click on the .app directory in finder to "show package contents" of the application bundle)

  • Installing 2.5.5 on Mac OS X, Server stops

I just installed version 2.5.5 on OS X 10.5.8. Installation went smooth but I then start the server and it starts and stops again. The Dock icon just disapears. I then try the Config but it also complains that it does not find the server. I can not find any information on this issue. Please help. I have JRE version 1.5.0_19.
