  Galleon is an essential part of a TiVo network as it adds so many capabilities that you wouldn't otherwise have. I've been running Galleon on Linux for years now, and I can't even imagine not being able to do without it.

  a few bumps on getting it to run but well worth the effort. works MUCH better than Tivo desktop, esp if you're linux-centric.
