User Reviews

  • There is no better webcalendar once you have tried out all functions. Just the layout is a bit outdated but therefore works on every device that can handle HTML.
  • Need graphical customization easier
  • WebCalendar has been a good Events calendar for my website. Unfortunately, my hosting company has removed PHP 5.2 due to potential security issues and upgraded to 5.4. WebCalendar CAPTCH does not work with PHP versions above 5.2. I have requested, as have many others, for the correction of his problem. There appears to be no one addressing the issue. I say this because I cannot find any evidence in the various SourceForge forums that it is being addressed. I only see request for help, like mine, with no subsequent follow up or communication on the issues. I am currently seeking an alternative for WebCalendar.
  • tried many various website calendars over the years, alway come back to this
  • I have used this open source calendar several times. It is robust for a shared calendar - works across multi time zones. If you have several users who need to have varied access to a shared calendar this will do it. You can also use this for a public calendar. BUT there is NO support. No experts who will answer questions. The documentation is only OK. But it has gaps which will suck your time. It installs easily and does the basics. This code needs new owner/champions. I think there is a real need for this exact sort of open source calendar. Please someone do this..... I would pay for support if it was out there.
