hello to the list (and Dave). I hope I am using this list correctly, but here goes: I should have stated my system: 32 bit pentium 4, 2 Gb ram, Soundblaster Live, 'K'/ubuntu Quantel, homemade midi keyboard and controller. Now to the main business: after getting the dependencies with: sudo apt-get build-dep yoshimi: i attempted to compile the midi learn version of Yoshimi but first attempt failed due to a missing module, which I installed (sqlite3 [3.7.13-1] ). This was rectified . Then i made a fresh attempt to compile the source, this was in a fresh directory with a fresh unzipped package, but this also failed. This time it seems it still cannot find sqilte3. But a named folder is present on my system: usr/lib/python2.7/sqlite I have copied the results of the terminal messages, and also the file which is referenced there. I wonder if someone might help me out again please? ====================================================================== errors shown in terminal during compilation: =============================================== CMake Error at /usr/share/cmake-2.8/Modules/FindPkgConfig.cmake:279 (message): A required package was not found Call Stack (most recent call first): /usr/share/cmake-2.8/Modules/FindPkgConfig.cmake:333 (_pkg_check_modules_internal) CMakeLists.txt:90 (pkg_check_modules) CMake Error at CMakeLists.txt:94 (message): Errors occurred during the last pass CMake Version 2.8.9 Press [e] to exit help =============================================================================== thanks in advance for any assistance in this matter.
