i tried to build XCA-0.6.4 on CentOS5/RHEL5 but failed. i had to modify ./configure to get it working. it's ugly but it works for me.
i think using pkgconfig for determining the paths to header/libraries is much better. maybe i get some time to rewrite ./configure.
My small configure has been replaced by the autotools configure bazooka since.
