Guid issue Initial Comment: If you use Tallow to get selfreg information for two different dlls you get name collision about 'component0' and etc after merging object files or library files with help of Light. Simple solution with /prefix command line options is proposed to generated names with user-defined prefix e.g. myprefix.file0. Also Guid attribute is missed for components generated by Tallow. It leads to situation when files and (probably) registry entries are not deleted during uninstallation. Simple solution with /guid command line option is proposed to let user generate new guid for Tallow-generated components ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Derek (derekc) Date: 2006-04-07 14:56 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=518766 This should be fixed in heat. Tallow will not be fixed since its being replaced by heat. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Derek (derekc) Date: 2006-03-21 18:30 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=518766 Agreed - the current colliding behavior is pretty annoying. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=642714&aid=1194030&group_id=105970 |
