Usually, this happens when your RollbackOnInstall action is not sequenced before your Install action. _____ From: wix...@li... Subject: [WiX-users] SQLScript and installation rollback Hi, I'm using SQLScript to restore a database to a SQL Server. This is all working fine during a normal install but am running into issues during testing to see what happens when the install needs to be rolled back. RESTORE DATABASE SQL cannot be done in a database transaction so any rollback of this action is going to require execution of a DROP DATABASE command. I have that code in place for uninstallation, but how do I trigger that code when rolling back an installation? I added RollbackOnInstall="yes" to the SQLScript element for the uninstallation but that didn't cause it to execute during the rollback. Any ideas? Don Reith Syntora Inc. |
