For those not familiar with Windows XP and to clarify my problem... I can be logged in as someone and working and doing whatever. I can then switch to another user and everything is left running and still doing its thing (ie it does not just hibernate that). The problem I am having I described earlier. If I install VNC as one user, I can connect and do everything just fine as that user. However, when I go to switch to another user, even though VNC was started as a system service, I can display the user selection screen but when I select my new user, VNC blacks out. I was hoping to just have in startup for that user on login VNC running as a program and listening on another port (say 5901 and 5801) and watching this new display so I could work as that user. Then, when I log out since VNC is just running as a program, it would exit and I can switch back to the other instance of VNC. > -----Original Message----- > From: vnc...@li... > [mailto:vnc...@li...] On Behalf > Of William Hooper > Sent: Tuesday, January 14, 2003 3:24 PM > To: vnc...@li... > Subject: RE: Two servers on an XP box > > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: vnc...@li... > > [mailto:vnc...@li...] On Behalf > > Of Rosewood > > Well, I need to be able to access two different users on an > > XP box so I > > figured the easiest way to do it would be to run two different VNC > > servers.
