After hiding the icon, you need to go to the Start menu to open the configuration interface (application or server mode, depending on your use/need). If you also did not install an All Programs entry during install, try the command line instead: http://www.tightvnc.com/doc/win/TightVNC_2.7_for_Windows_Server_Command-Line_Options.pdf ...specifically: tvnserver.exe -controlservice (service mode) -or- tvnserver.exe -controlapp (application mode) Thanks, -Matt On 2014-07-02 10:13, Peter O'Brien wrote: > We have deployed HP t 610 thin clients to our Call Centre. > > Initially we unticked the option to display the icon in the tray. > > We have a need now to be able to see the icon, to alter the options for accepting sessions or querying the user. > > I have tried altering the registry keys, but this does not make the icon appear, I just get a message stating that the is an instance of tnserver already running. > > Kind Regards > > PETER O'BRIEN > > IT Support Analyst I Pure Collection Ltd., > > Mowbray House, Mowbray Square, Harrogate, North Yorkshire HG1 5AU > > E: pet...@pu...
