Sal, Relax. I was just trying to be funny. Mario. -----Original Message----- From: vnc...@li... Subject: RE: Unsubscribing yourself from this list your email is quite different from nicholas. 1. you are making an indirect death threat 2. you are cursing at nicholas directly 3. you are using insulting sarcasm nicholas did not do any of those (and don't say the hotmail thing 'cause that was just a joke). in my opinion, your response is unprovoked at its retaliatory level. i think you should apologize and go get some relaxation pills. but what i really would like, is for you to have removed yourself from this list by the time i send this! -----Original Message----- From: vnc...@li... Subject: Unsubscribing yourself from this list Okay, this is yet another in my series of periodic pleas for sanity from the users who are constantly sending "remove me" messages to the list proper. Provided you're not using some really screwed up system like HTML mail (I will kill the people at Hotmail for inventing this idea. I really will. I will murder them in their sleep with hot fluids poured into their private regions.) you can easily find the links to unsubscribe yourself. In fact, any of the text posts (including yours, Mr. Parke) have the link right at the bottom, inserted by the good folks at Sourceforge, who are hosting this list. Right at the very bottom it says: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/vnc-tight-list Click that link. Voila, you are presented with information regarding the list, including, wonder of wonders, information on how to unsubscribe yourself. Yes, that's right. For a limited time YOU can become more than just a simple user asking another for help, you can do an amazing feat on your own. I'm sorry for the dripping sarcasm and latent hostility, but I'd have expected that if you got on this list you had some knowledge of what you were doing, and how to fix things. And nobody can tell me they were 'added' to this list by someone else, because you must authenticate your desire to join the list by responding to an email message. And if you did THAT without realizing it, then god help you in driving vehicles, because some things are just too important for autopilot. Thank you, that's my rant, good night. Oh and if you missed the link up there, don't worry, it'll be down below this as well. -Nicholas ------------------------------------------------------- The SF.Net email is sponsored by EclipseCon 2004 Premiere Conference on Open Tools Development and Integration See the breadth of Eclipse activity.
