Greetings Everyone, First I want to thank Mark for stepping forward and getting a basic package put together. This is a great start on a completed package that has some nasty packaging issues yet to be resolved. I spoke with Peter Theony today and want to get in touch with people that can help out with the Debian package of twiki. I don't know if it's in a usable state for system administrators and users. I have indications that the current maintainer doesn't seem responsive or interested in continued maintenance of the package. I am unfortunately unable to take over the packaging myself. Are there Debian developers who would be willing to help out with (via research and discussion) some of these packaging problems? If not, perhaps someone knows of some Debian TWiki sites that might be willing to act as advisors on these outstanding issues? Perhaps after some of these issues are addressed someone can do an NMU? I propose that the discussion takes place on the upstream collaboration site. Some of the issues are already being discussed there. Specifically on the page: http://twiki.org/cgi-bin/view/Codev/TWikiOnDebian Of course the outstanding bugs can be found at this URL. http://bugs.debian.org/twiki Best regards, -- -- Grant Bowman <gra...@gr...> |
