Toronto is hosting Yet Another Perl Conference for North America this=20 summer. Its a big event and attracts CPAN and Perl authors. I'm stopping short of offering to host it - I'm stretched as it is - but if= =20 someone else wants to do so let me know and I will pass on the message. Cheers, M. > > - Kwiki > > - Brian Ingerson has said that he will maintain a Kwiki for us; > > someone should contact him. I'll start with this item - what do we want from our YAPC Kwiki and where can we host it? Or should we ask Ingy if he can host it for us? As for special features, the only ones that comes to mind are version control and possibly authentication. Anything else? As for authentication - do we want it? Authentication would force attendees and speakers to register and login before modifying pages. The benefit of authentication is that defacement of the wiki would (hopefully) be a less common event. Right - that's as compelling an argument as I could ask for! I'll see if we can't make the login process fairly painless.
