Yep... that did the trick! Thank you again!!! However, I now get the Thinstation splash/boot screen but I get an error: /bin/ash: can't access tty; job control turned off This is probably due to some misconfiguration on build.conf (or somewhere else)... I will play around with it over the weekend. But, if anyone has any idea on what I'm doing wrong please let me know :-) Thanks, -Javier ----- Original Message ----- From: "Patrick Steele" <Pat...@ma...> To: <thi...@li...> Sent: Friday, February 27, 2004 11:40 AM Subject: Re: [Thinstation-general] RE: Help a Newbie with Install > I must admit, I'm new to Thinstation... so I guess it's a little like > the blind leading the blind. Currently, the syslinux.cfg file starts with > 'append=loadramdisk=1' - it should be 'append loadramdisk=1'. My working syslinux.cfg file looks like: > > timeout 0 > default vmlinuz > append loadramdisk=1 initrd=initrd ramdisk_blocksize=4096 > root=/dev/rd/0 splash=silent vga=791 > display thinstation.txt |
