Mouse can be moved around, but mouse clicks do not interact with the session. The keyboard is't interacting with the session as well, but ctrl-alt-backspace will restart x resulting in the replimenu screen and when the rdesktop connection is started from there the session can continue from where it was left. This seems to be a known bug in rdesktop 1.5.0. I did a bit of googling and found this page at FreeBSD, where it is mentioned and apparently fixed: http://www.freshports.org/net/rdesktop/ Unfortunately I'm unable to figure out what they have changed and where to get it (I know nothing about *BSD). I only thing I managed to find, was an updated Make files, but this makes no sense. Anyone? Mike > > There are sounblaster pci Live! 5.1 cards as well as cmi and es1371 cards. All thinstations have the same random freezes no matter what tyoe the soundcard is. Terminal server will run (with sound) on a Win xp machine with no problems whatsoever for days with sound. > > Is there a way to put rdesktop cvs into 2.2.1 or 2.3 for testing purposes? > > (We need sound in our school because of educational software). > > Thanks, > G.C. > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft > Defy all challenges.
