Category: Usability Group: None Status: Closed Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: David Rylander (rylleman) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: accelrc get overwritten. Initial Comment: According to this article; http://synfig.org/Keyboard_Shortcuts_(Flash) you can change hotkeys by altering the accelrc file in ~/.synfig/. This file is however overwritten with the default file everytime you open Synfig Studio so your custom settings does not stick. I think recreating the file only if it's missing would be the solution (it is hinted in the help-file that this is the behaviour Synfig is supposed to have). [Synfig Studio 0.61.09, Ubuntu Studio 8.10 64-bit.] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Konstantin Dmitriev (zelgadis_ksee) Date: 2012-04-23 02:01 Message: In fact I made such guess only because I run into the same situation by myself - I was changing shortcuts and forgot to remove ";" symbols. Then i was puzzled why my changes were overwritten. Until I realized that i need to remove ";". ^___^ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: David Rylander (rylleman) Date: 2012-04-23 00:49 Message: I can't remember what was wrong or how I fixed it but Zelgadis suggestion sounds plausible (I'm a bit embarrassed then). It now works. Closing this *bug*... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Konstantin Dmitriev (zelgadis_ksee) Date: 2012-04-18 06:10 Message: I guess David forgot to remove ";" symbol at the start of the line when he edited the shortcuts. In this case the line treated as commented out and overwritten with default settings if modified. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Genete (genete) Date: 2012-04-17 12:01 Message: I know that you can setup your custom shortcuts. How do you do it? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=757416&aid=2787169&group_id=144022 |
