No time to wait! We are releasing Synfig Studio 0.63.02 - a minor
update, delivering a fix for performance issue introduced in previous
Some users experience inconvenience because of the new interpolation
method for Advanced Outline layer, which is very accurate, but slow.
We plan to optimize the code for that routine, but it can't be done
soon, because of the other items on our roadmap.
Until then, we are releasing this minor update, introducing new
parameter for Advanced Outline layer (Fast), which allows to disable
slow interpolation algorithm and use old (but inaccurate) one. Please
notice, that enabling this option may cause some render artifacts in
certain circumstances and the shape of the width is not uniform with
the curve length. Though, it will give you significant performance
boost for complex curves.... read more
After some months of work we are proud to release Synfig Studio 0.63.01. This minor release brings you the further evolution of outlines features, as well as other improvements and bug fixes. *Now "Link to BLine" convert type have the "Homogeneous" option (enabled by default), which makes the object move at constant speed along the length of the curve.

Imported canvases are now have 'Children Lock' enabled by default.
