Category: None Group: None Status: Open >Resolution: Accepted Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: David Rylander (rylleman) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Default time unit. Initial Comment: You can specify time in Synfig in two different units (s)econds and (f)rames. If you do not specify one of these when you set a number in fields (like current time window) s is assumed. I would like to be able to set the default unit synfig assumes so if I write 5 I want to go to 5 frames and not 5 seconds. I never use seconds when working so I always have to add an f after my time to get where I want. An extra unnesessary step I feel. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Genete (genete) Date: 2010-10-25 19:37 Message: Applied in the new release. Default unit when none provided is frames and seconds if the frame rate is unknown. It would be good too that the user could define its desired default unit in the settings dialog. Since I don't want to overload it with more scattered items I delay it to a later settings review. I leave the tracker open. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Konstantin Dmitriev (zelgadis_ksee) Date: 2010-10-21 03:45 Message: I agree - this proposal is good change for usability. ^__^ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: nikitakit (nikitakit) Date: 2010-10-18 00:28 Message: Changing time to assume frames, not seconds, will be a simple change in synfig-core/src/synfig/time.cpp:118-119 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=757419&aid=2879693&group_id=144022 |
