-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi Luke, > I'd like to volunteer for the development of SuperTuxKart. > > Although I am just an beginner on the programming aspect of game development, I could help with the following parts of the project: > >> Documentation. >> Music. >> Play Testing / Looking for bugs. > > Please get back to me, as I would love to be a part of this wonderful game! That's great, welcome! We currently don't have to do a lot of testing, STK is in the transition to the new physics, and while the new physics will (fingers crossed) work soon, currently there are quite a few things that need to be fixed first. Once this is done we need a lot of play testing :) We are always interested in music (ogg format), and perhaps some special effects as well. If there is anything you can contribute, please do so. Additionally, we try to get a Halloween edition out - for which we just need a few 3d models with Halloween objects. There is a forum run by German STK fans, with a special thread at: http://community.games4mac.de/index.php?showtopic=17458&st=0 where a few models are already done (further down on the first page ... don't get confused by the Xmas models in between, we hope to make a Xmas edition as well). If you could supply any additional Halloween objects we could use, that would be great (and/or Halloween music). This is going to be a 'data only' expansion, i.e. you can install it on top of 0.3, it will just add a different collectable style (instead of blue boxes and bananas a pumpkin or so), and if we get a few more models we might modify an existing track to have some h. objects around as well (it's too much effort to do a special track). So, if you feel like adding some blender models for Halloween, just post them here (or email them to me).
