Hi, I am facing a problem regarding the physics aspect in simulation .... Since Drive is used to add force in each cycle there should be a constant acceleration if i add the same force. But when i use drive(100) the acceleration i get is different in each cycle. Even though i assume there is friction once the body starts moving the friction force is constant (ie f= muk * Normal force)... So if i apply the same force using the drive vector(say drive(100)) i should get the same acceleration because ( a = (Force applied - frictional force)/mass) Since force factor = 35*12/100 the acceleration should be close to 5.6 as the mass is 75 kg but the acceleration i get varies from 0 to 1.8 m/s2 Since the server uses ode i tried to check the ode documentation but could not understand how the friction is simulated Also the maximum agent velocity i get is around 1.6m/s but the maximum agent velocity is set to be 10m/s in the rcssserver.rb file .. I would be grateful if some one can explain me as to how the dynamics of the system works and correct me Thanking in advance regards, sireesh |
