Hi, I just picked up a Scanmaker 3700 yesterday. It's working fine under Mac OS 9/X, and it works under Linux. However, the colours seem to be all wrong. (I don't know much about scanning, so it could be brightness or something that's wrong). Anyhow, a scan under Mac OS gives me black text on a pink background. Scanning the same thing under linux gives me a white background and pinky text (IIRC). I don't have the details of the scanner or the picture with me at the moment (I'll get them when I go home). Is this a known problem, or could it be endianness? I'm using sane-1.0.5, under Debian unstable (from their packages, with all the other drivers turned off). The processor is a 450Mhz G4. Kernel is 2.4.10-pre8-ben0.
