Personally, I think it would be the right thing to do, i.e. to make the
whole of the library GNU LGPL.  However, I do not think I have the
access rights to the CVS archive and I am not sure I have the moral
right to arbitrarily change the files.  Clearly the one's created by
people currently active in the group can be changed if those people say
they can.  However, some of the files were contributed by others and
they should be given the opportunity to object to the proposed change?
