Hi all, Here it is a chunk of a map file generated by sdcc: Area Addr Size Decimal Bytes (Attributes) ---------------- ---- ---- ------- ----- ------------ BSEG 0000 000B =3D 11. bytes (REL,CON,BIT) I know it says "bytes", but it sounds like a lot of bit variables (8*11=3D88), especially when I had not declare any. Could it be that it means bits instead? I am asking because if it is bits (that is, two bytes), when linking I could set "--data-loc 0x22" and have 14 more bytes available in DSEG. --------------------------------------------------- Jesus Calvino-Fraga, Ph.D. Candidate Address: Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering University of British Columbia 2356 Main Mall Vancouver, BC, Canada V6T 1Z4 Voice: (604) 822-0532 or (604) 228-2710 Fax:=A0=A0 (604) 822-5949 Email: je...@in... |
