For guys like you I introduced

#define NO_BIT_DEFINES 1
#include "pic16f690.h"

or

sdcc -DNO_BIT_DEFINES [...]

which prevents pic16f690.h (and all other pic16*.h) from clobbering the  
global namespace with ... well ... defines for all the bits.
