warning 196: point target lost const qualifier is also new in SDCC 3.0.0. My original code looks like: void mystrcat(unsigned char * pDst, unsigned char * pSrc); unsigned char * pBuf; const unsigned char * pMark; the warning will apear when call "strcat(pBuf, pMark);". And it is still there even I do "strcat(pBuf, (unsigned char *)pMark);" Woody http://palmmicro.com/woody/ ----- Original Message ----- From: "Lin Rongrong" <wo...@pa...> To: <sdc...@li...> Cc: <su...@pa...> Sent: Friday, November 05, 2010 2:00 PM Subject: Re: z80 inline asm changes? > Another SDCC 3.0.0 quesstion, I got a lot of "warning 185: comparison of > 'signed char' with "unsigned char' requires promotion to int". > Typical code looks like " while (*pStr == '\t' || *pStr == ' ')", where > pStr is defined as "unsigned char *".
