So we decide to start from scratch, of course, comparing our efforts with=20 Scid's code and from time to time copying some of the methods, algorithms a= nd=20 tricks. Main reason was that we find it easier to rewrite it from scratch,= =20 using some modern free C++ GUI library (Qt was chosen for the purpose).=20 Tcl/Tk, despite its all advantages, isn't a very modern GUI and it lacks so= me=20 features that we would like to have. =2D-=20 Michal Rudolf |
