What was the original problem? I can't find the message, and you : > don't quote it below. :=20 : 1. Open a directory while you have some non-rox application open : 2. bring up an action window of some sort (ie, change icon for an : item) : 3. either complete the action, or hit cancel. :=20 : focus will jump to another application instead of back to the ROX : window you opened that you are performing the actions on. I'm not able to reproduce that. Red Hat Linux 6.2 XFree86-3.3.6 WindowMaker-0.65.1, with the following potentially relevant preferences: OpenTransientOnOwnerWorkspace =3D YES; WindowPlacement =3D smart; AutoFocus =3D YES; FocusMode =3D manual; RaiseDelay =3D 0; gtx+-1.2.10 rox-1.1.7 =20 Here's what i did: - Had several windows open (a few xterms). - Opened /usr/apps from the rox pinboard. The directory window appeared, partially overlapped with an xterm, and got focus. - [RightClicked] on an application directory. - Chose "App Dir 'appname'"->"Set Icon..." from the menu - The "Set Icon" dialog appeared, with focus. - Chose "Cancel". - The "Set Icon" dialog disappeared. Focus went back to the directory window. Are you sure you don't have sloppy focus turned on or something like that? --=20 jim knoble | jmk...@po... | http://www.pobox.com/~jmknoble/ (GnuPG fingerprint: 31C4:8AAC:F24E:A70C:4000::BBF4:289F:EAA8:1381:1491) |
