I've been working on an interface to fusesmb (uses FUSE to mount Samba shares as standard file systems), and I've put a pre-release at http://kerofin.demon.co.uk/~stephen/snapshots/ROX-Samba.tar.gz for people to try. It basically mounts the file system at ~/smb and opens that in the filer when run and provides an option to unmount it. You can also configure it to use a different mount point. Futhermore it will take arguments such as smb:// smb://WORKGROUP/ smb://SERVER/ (and cifs:) which makes it suitable for use as a URI handler for rox -U. Yet to come: editing the fusesmb.conf file (needs to be done manually at the moment). -- Stephen Watson http://www.kerofin.demon.co.uk/ Stranded here on planet earth / It's not much but it could be worse |
