Gemini is easy. Its installer puts it in /usr/local/bin/ so all you have to do is open that directory (in ROX of course), drag it across to your app directory, or wherever you want it, and instead of selecting 'copy' or 'move' select 'link'. If you also take a nose around /usr/share/icons/ you should find a suitable mail image you can 'borrow' so you can recognise gemini at a glance. You can do this with any program in the 'system' area.
