I'm having a problem with my gnome-volume-manager ROX port. The GUI part is written in python and uses ROX-Lib. The daemon is written in C and uses ROX-Clib. The daemon needs to read the options created by the GUI. Unfortunately ROX-Lib stores the settings as "Options.xml" while ROX-Clib expects "Options". I can change the python or the C code, doesn't matter which. How can I fix this with the smallest amount of code? Of course I must be sure upgrading either library doesn't break it later. |
