When I do, I see the daemon is still there I wrote a small logout script that takes care of it for review: #!/bin/sh MntDir=${HOME}/.avfs grep -q "avfsd ${MntDir}" /proc/mounts && { echo unMounting AVFS on $MntDir... fusermount -u $MntDir } Basically, it's just the login script in reverse. fusermount seems to kill the daemon on its own! snip... > > I don't remember the exact problem, but I think it was something like > avfs not working at all if libtrash was loaded.
