But I need that within 3-6 month. And then the gnome-capplets =20 will still be a lot more feature rich. The Gnome folks have put so much work into the accessibility stuff. =20 With the capplets we get at least some of that. ROX-Session's prefs are comparably basic. And it hasn't received even =20 the most basic polish, like properly aligned widgets. We need to mix in capplets like the new gnome-volume-manager (formerly =20 magicdev). gstreamer preferences etc anyway. The ROX-Session binary is =20 obviously not the right place for that. I'm working on seemless =20 integration of the gnomecc capplets with Fedora's system-config-* =20 series. And a few other configlets from here and there. I don't see how =20 the preferences aspect of ROX-Session fits into the picture. Frankly =20 the basic session-management, like respawning and especially the logout =20 dialog is the only aspect of ROX-Session I'm currently interested in. =20 And I'm finding it hard to justify ROX-Session's footprint for that. My =20 init service (minit) does things like that and more advanced things at =20 20k: PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND 1 root 16 0 44 20 12 S 0.0 0.0 0:05.72 init 1502 guido 16 0 13264 7840 11m S 0.0 3.1 0:06.13 ROX-Session |
