I have just uploaded ROX-Menu 0.5.0. This is a feature addition release. You can download it here: http://www.cs.sunyit.edu/~geerp/rox/software.html#ROX-Menu The following are new in this version: - The configuration system has changed. The configuration file is now obselete (yay!), although it is still supported and will still be used if present. The menu configuration is now done in the filesystem, just as the submenus were in previous versions, with directory "Menu_Root" under the choices directory representing the top-level menu. - It is now possible to multiple, independent menu configurations (thanks to Matthias Hennemann for this idea). So, for example, you can now run two instances of ROX-Menu in your panel with different menus, icons, and behavior. This is accomplished by making a symlink to the ROX-Menu AppDir. - In order to make ad hoc menu item sorting possible, there is now an option to strip a numeric prefix from the display of an AppDir name. Thus, the AppDirs "1_Sylpheed" and "12a_Opera" will display as "Sylpheed" and "Opera" respectively. - Note that the new configuration system does not permit labels or manual seperators (does anyone care about this?) As usual, please direct any comments, bug reports, and so forth to me. Thanks! --------------- Peter A.
