All, I've hacked Archive a little bit. I found my self wanting an option on the dialog to delete the archive file after extracting it. So, here it is: http://www.epicpaintball.com/geek/files/archive-hack.tgz <http://www.epicpaintball.com/geek/files/archive-hack.tgz> That archive contains two files (box.py and AppRun). Simply overwrite the files of the same name in the Archive AppDir (at least, this works as of the 1.9.2 release of Archive). This hack adds a checkbutton with a label of 'Delete archive after extraction?' to the Archive dialog when it is started with a file (when Archive is started with a dir, it does not show.). When Archive closes, if the checkbutton is checked, the file is deleted. I couldn't decided whether or not I wanted the checkbox value to be remembered from session to session. In the end, I figured it would be 'safer' to have it default to 'unchecked' all the time (better to have to go back and delete something later that to delete something that you needed). Thoughts? Hope someone finds this as useful as I do.
