GNIS Error Messages (again)

USGS has fiddled around with their GNIS files again, this time changing the filenames around slightly and changing the delimiters in their files. As a result, Roadnav v0.14 is having difficulty with their files. This has been corrected in 0.15beta, so if you're getting error messages trying to download maps, please try upgrading to one of the experimental versions.

Experimental Releases Now Available

Some experimental releases of Roadnav are now available from the downloads page. These versions were built from the latest SVN development version and contain some bug fixes (most notably a gpsd fix) and some new and improved features. Among the new features are OS X Universal binary support and a new routing algorithm. However, these versions also haven't been tested very much, so there is a good chance they may contain bugs as well. The latest stable version, 0.12, is still available from the downloads page as well.... read more
