Hi all, i recently was successful in finding qucs when i searched for a simulation tool. Congratulations to the authors. It is a very good and interesting software. Unfortunately i encountered a problem. I tried to simulate a crystal controlled Colpitts Oscillator. As i read in the lists that a crystal is currently not supported i designed my own very simple crystal replacement. I used serial R-L-C paralleled with a C. If i put the components and the equations directly into my schematic it works as expected. The simulation is excellent. If i create an a crystal device and try to create an user library the build shows following messages: FEHLER: Die Komponente "Ls" besitzt kein digitales Modell. Die Bibliothek wurde erfolgreich erzeugt. ERROR: The component "Ls" has no digital model The Library was created successfully. When i use the component in my design the simulator crashes. The warnings are ok... since there is a analogue model, which you are going to use. > When i use the component in my design the simulator crashes. That is because you had an useless "Quarz" property with a default value of "Quarz" in the subcircuit. I made a fix in CVS which catches this appropriately. > What do i wrong? Also the subcircuit contained a "6" for Cpar, which is wrong I guess; did you mean "6e-12"??? Also I fixed a bug in the simulator which occurs when a component property is specified by a equation variable which is just an intermediate real value.... It is in CVS now. Cheers, Stefan. |
